MHADA May 2012 Lottery Scheme : A total of 2,593 apartments in Mumbai and Mira Road are up for grabs.
Good News for Mumbaikars. Mhada has again come out with a lottery scheme for low cost homes in Mumbai and Mira Road are available for various income groups.
Mhada, the Housing and Area Development Authority of Maharashtra has announced that its latest lottery scheme would be held in the month of May and June 2012. To take part in the draw, please fill out the mhada form 2012.
Mhada Online Application Form 2012 Dates :
Online applications start date – 3rd May 2012. Time: 2p.m.
Online applications end date – 25th May 2012. Time: 6p.m.
Income Group Classification :
(b) Lower Income Group (LIG): Rs.8,001 to Rs.20,000/-
(c) Middle Income Group (MIG): Rs.20,001/- to Rs.40,000/-
(d) Higher Income Group (HIG): Rs.40,001/- and above
Please note the minimum age for submitting an application is 18 years.
Application Fee : Rs. 50/-

- The application forms must not be submitted at the MHADA office.
- Do not deal with any so-called agents/representatives/brokers claiming to be able to get you an application form and help you in the lottery draw. MHADA has not appointed anybody for this lottery.
- If you are lucky enough to be an eligible applicant, you will have to pay the required stamp duty as per the rules of the State Govt.
- It may take time to provide water and electricity to the MHADA home which you get, as these will be acquired from the local authorities.
- In addition to the cost of the house, you will also have to pay the required Service Tax + Maharashtra Value Added Tax (MVAT) in the concerned Govt. Dept.
- You will get the actual possession of the flat only after you produce the tax receipts.
