Yuvraj Singh Cancer News : Indian cricket fans got a big set back today when they came to know that all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been  diagnosed with cancer.

Physiotherapist of Yuvraj Singh, Jatin Choudhary today confirmed the news that Yuvraj Singh is suffering from cancer and is undergoing “chemotherapy” in the US.

According to news reports, Yuvraj Singh, who left for the US on January 26th, has a tumor between his lung and the heart and is undergoing chemotherapy in US.

His tumour was detected in October but it was said to non-malignant. But it has now reportedly been diagnosed as malignant.

Choudhary further said that the disease is in it’s first stage and the chemotherapy treatment will continue till March and the star player is expected to be fit by May this year.

Earlier on Saturday, Yuvraj tweeted that he is reading cycling champion Lance Armstrong’s Book –¬† It’s Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life and hoped to be motivated enough to pull through his current illness.
