Rajasthan vs Tamil Nadu Ranji Trophy Final 2011 – 2012 : Yesterday Rajasthan successfully defended the Ranji Trophy by virtue of first-innings lead against Tamil Nadu, at the Chepauk Stadium.

The finals held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai ended in a draw on end of Day 5.

Vineet Saxena was declared Man of the Match for his 257 run innings.

At the end of day 4 of the match the result of the match was much obvious as Rajasthan had managed a huge 326-run first innings lead over Tamil Nadu.

Winners Rajasthan got winners prize of Rs. 2 Crores whereas Tamil Nadu got Rs. 1 Crore.
