Yesterday the much awaited CAT 2011 Results were announced.

Around 1.85 lakh candidates took the test over a 20-day testing window across 36 cities from mid October.

9 Candidates across India scored 100 percentine in CAT 2011.

2 out of these 9 who secured 100 percentine in CAT 2011 are from Mumbai. Their names are Shashank Prabhu (26) and Ajinkya Deshmukh (24).

Also 1800 other candidates scored 99 percentine als above.

The successful candidates now would be called for the next stage of the admission process. For successful candidates, IIMs have done away with group discussion and replaced it with a written essay test; followed by personal interview round.

How to obtain CAT 2011 Results :

Please ensure that you have your CAT registration data handy to retrieve your scorecard. You shall need the following:

- CAT Registration Number
- E-mail address exactly as supplied during CAT registration, as it appears on your Admit card.

One can expect a stiff competition this year again for the 3241 sets that 13 IIM’s have on offer.
