Vanuatu at 2018 Commonwealth Games


Vanuatu is a Pacific island nation located in the South Pacific Ocean. The archipelago, which is of volcanic origin, is 1,750 kilometres (1,090 mi) east of northern Australia, 540 kilometres (340 mi) northeast of New Caledonia, east of New Guinea, southeast of the Solomon Islands, and west of Fiji. Port Vila is the capital and the largest city of Vanuatu.

Athletes from Vanuatu will compete in the 2018 Commonwealth Games which is scheduled to take place in the Gold Coast, Australia from 4 to 15 April 2018.

Vanuatu has been taking part in the Commonwealth Games since 1982 Commonwealth Games and so far have participated in 9 commonwealth games.

Vanuatu has never managed to win a medal at Commonwealth Games.
