Fire in Parliament Room No. 50 ahead of Budget Day

Breaking News of the moment comes from New Delhi, where there are reports of a fire break out in Parliament.

According to media reports, a fire broke out in Room No. 50 of the Parliament and at least 12 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

This fire in the parliament comes at a time when tomorrow, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will present the Union Budget for the financial year 2017 – 18.

The exact cause of the fire in not yet know but it might be a short-circuit.

As of now there are no news of any casualty.

Earlier in the day, President Pranab Mukherjee flagged off the Budget session and said that this year’s budget will be “historic” as it heralds the advancement of the budget cycle and the merger of general budget with rail budget for the first time.
